Environmental Education Internship – The Environmental Education Intern will work closely with LOTT staff in support of programming for the new Water Education and Technology Center, including staffing the exhibit gallery from 9-4 on Saturdays. Flexible work hours will also be available during weekdays.

Water Squad Volunteers LOTT’s new Water Education and Technology Center will be opening in July, 2010. The Center will have fun, interactive exhibits to teach the public about water conservation, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and much more. We are looking for out-going people to be Water Squad Volunteers who will greet and assist the public in the exhibit gallery, open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Water Squad volunteers work two-hour shifts during this timeframe.
If you have an interest in teaching your community all about water, contact LOTT today for an application. The program is open to people 18 years and older, and to high school seniors working on culminating projects. In order to be selected and trained for the Center’s start-up in July, applications should be in by June 18. LOTT will continue to review applications on a monthly basis after July, 2010. To be considered for an open position, complete an official LOTT Alliance
application, and any required supplemental materials identified in the job announcement, by the closing date and time specified. Selection Process
Applications will be screened according to pre-established criteria. The most qualified applicants will be invited to interview. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background investigation. Candidates will receive an Affiliated Information Resources Authorization form and an Authorization and Release for Reference and Criminal Background Investigation form at completion of the interview process. If you are selected as the finalist for a position with the LOTT Alliance, you will be required to complete the forms authorizing release of background information. For positions requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), any offer of employment is also contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening test and a CDL background check, including abstract of driving record and receipt of prior Department of Transportation drug/alcohol testing records from employers for whom the candidate worked or sought work.

process via letter to the address provided on the application form. While we strive to provide notification in a timely manner, the selection process may take 6-8 weeks to complete.
